The Art of Balance #45 | Maurizio Silvi, what dreams will you dream?
The make-up artist is the 45th guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. Maurizio Silvi, who has worked in the cinematographic field both nationally and internationally, starts by explaining how he thinks that nothing has changed in the post-pandemic society; he then answers one of the questions posed by the initiative revealing one of his wishes: “My dream, soon to be fulfilled, is to collaborate on my fifth film with one of the most brilliant directors I’ve ever worked with: Baz Luhrmann”.

What dreams will you dream?
People used to say that after this tragic pandemic we would all rediscover a sense of collectivity. Unfortunately, I can sadly see that everything has gone back to the way it was and that ‘civic sense doesn’t make any sense’.
The dream I would dream for my granddaughter Stella and for her explosive generation is to have a wider cultural vision and extensive life experiences.
My dream, soon to be fulfilled, is to collaborate on my fifth film with one of the most brilliant directors I’ve ever worked with: Baz Luhrmann.
