‘The Preventive Peace Flag’: a Third Paradise flag generates art waves in the sea of Bali
From 19 April to 2 May, the Indonesian island hosted ‘Kayu in Viaggio’, a collective exhibition of local and international artists held on a catamaran made entirely of carbon. The protagonists were invited to design a flag to be hoisted on the boat during the fourteen-day voyage: one of the featured exhibits was a work by Michelangelo Pistoletto proposed by artist and Rebirth/Third Paradise ambassador Marco Cassani. Here are the behind-the-scenes of the exhibition project told in an interview with Cassani.

‘Artivation for a responsible social transformation’: Michelangelo Pistoletto’s new exhibition opens in Tirana
Today - 21 May - the Centre for Openness and Dialogue (COD) and the Italian Cultural Institute is presenting the artist's new solo exhibition. The exposition project set up in Albania traces the guidelines of ‘Project Art’ through Pistoletto's works, and illustrates the birth and development of Cittadellarte and the Third Paradise on the concept of a ‘global civilisation’ that eliminates distances while maintaining differences.

‘T3rza Terra’: Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte at Villa Manin
The art project will be open from 25 May to 31 December 2024 as an exhibition in the former Doge's residence, where some works by Michelangelo Pistoletto will be in dialogue with a series of works by eleven Italian and foreign artists. Its programme includes a cycle of conferences open to the public, inviting them to reflect on new opportunities to understand art and the role of artistic expression in the transformation of society and the territory.

The reactivation of an urban fabric through performance art works: a project by Accademia Unidee
Immersed in an otherworldly dimension like the one evoked by the industrial archaeology of the UNIDEE Space, on the evening of 16 April seven students from the course in Artistic Anatomy of Fondazione Pistoletto’s Accademia UNIDEE allowed the public to live experiences that were as intimate and topical as urgent and social, through a personal iconoplastic alphabet developed with the language of performance art. Weaving a narrative path oriented "from the inside to the outside, from the spiritual to the physical sphere, from the invisible to the visible", through art, they led spectators to a reflective movement on a question, the same question expressed at the end of the event and which the listeners themselves were invited to answer: "Unused spaces in the city: which would you like to see regenerated? For what end use?".

The Pistoletto Foundation’s store is the place where guided tours begin and end, but also where visitors can find a wide range of products like gadgets, jewellery, home accessories, books, food, cosmetics, unique and sustainable clothing.
