Michelangelo Pistoletto has conceived a new version of the trinamic symbol which represents the human brain and a sequence of bit strings in the two opposite circles, and the union and synthesis between the two in the central one. The work follows in the wake of the artist's research into artificial intelligence.

The preventive peace at UNESCO: Michelangelo Pistoletto speaks at the High Level Ministerial Dialogue on Education for Peace

On 8 November, Paris will host the UNESCO General Assembly, in which the education ministers of the UN specialised agency's member states will discuss the role of education in relation to the goal of global peace. Pistoletto will be among the guests at the initiative: the artist has been invited to give a speech that will focus on his artistic practice and, in particular, on "preventive peace".

Paris: “Daniel Buren & Michelangelo Pistoletto”, the exhibition at the Palais d’Iéna

Opened on 17 October, the works of the two contemporary artists will be exhibited in the Parisian palace in a play with its peculiar architecture: designed by Auguste Perret in 1937, the building is one of the three constructions still standing from the universal exhibition of the same year. The evocative intertwining of Pistoletto and Buren, curated by Matthieu Poirier and supported by Paris+ par Art Basel and Galleria Continua, will be freely open to visitors until 29 October.

“WORLD MAP”, the work of Ryts Monet from Circulart at Cittadellarte to the BIENALSUR in Buenos Aires

Until 31 December 2023, the capital of Argentina will host the BIENALSUR at the MUNTREF. The group exhibition "Rompecabezas" includes an installation by Ryts Monet that the artist created during the residency of the project CirculART at Fondazione Pistoletto, presented on the occasion of Arte al Centro 2021. "The experience in Biella," he commented, "allowed me to investigate and work on the relationship between fashion and sustainability. For a responsible global change in this area, it is essential to trigger processes to raise awareness on the theme".

In Cuba, the third edition of “Reciclamos” and the workshops “CreArte”: a summer dedicated to plastic recycling

In August, Habitat Park was the setting for recycling activities aimed at the younger generation, but not only. On 24 September, at La Scala, the artist’s trinamic symbol was once again the active backdrop of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion’s initiative, for the intrinsic values it expresses. Also, the "Sustainable Fashion Awards" actual prize was a reproduction of the "Venus of Rags", and was presented to a series of companies and brands that have distinguished themselves for their commitment to ethical fashion.
