What will you remember?
It is an important issue to question ourselves about. The first memories I have of this period of lockdown are the closures and the asociality. This question is fundamental to think about what has been, what we can do in the present and what we can achieve in the future. The pandemic has made us reflect, reinvent ourselves and build a better tomorrow. Coming from the world of sport, I have felt the need to do physical activity, analyse myself and learn new techniques: this has been essential to endure this period, to live it with serenity – if at all possible – and to look to the future. I have also realised even more clearly how important sport is as a means of release, as a form of wellness and sociality, and how it can always make us feel well. Together with the various forms of art and culture, I think that sport has carved out an important part in this pandemic too, and that we have all felt the need to take a walk, as a way of being outside and meeting people.
