An artistic residency as an educational instrument, the students from ArtEZ Academy at Cittadellarte
Starting from last week and for five weeks Fondazione Pistoletto will be hosting “arti-vamente”, an artistic residency involving twelve students from ArtEZ Academy in Arnhem, ten of whom are in their last year of a bachelor’s in visual arts. All the participants will carry out an individual research, also through the natural contaminations of Cittadellarte and its spaces. The residency includes a programme of meetings managed by the UNIDEE office and the tutoring by some of their professors. A public open studio will mark the end of the experience.

The exhibition “Da Cittadellarte alla Civiltà dell’Arte” (From Cittadellarte to the Civilization of Art) opens in Mantua
The exhibition – opening to the public today – presents the visitors with an artistic and narrative development illustrating the research carried out by Pistoletto in over 60 years of activity, from the first self-portraits to Cittadellarte and the Third Paradise. Besides the artist from Biella, many were the speakers at the opening conference, among them Paolo Naldini, director of Cittadellarte, and Mattia Palazzi, mayor of Mantua.

Da Cittadellarte alla Civiltà dell’Arte (From Cittadellarte to the Civilization of Art)
From 23rd March to 12th June 2018, the Ducal Palace in Mantua will host Michelangelo Pistoletto’s exhibition “Da Cittadellarte alla Civiltà dell’Arte”. The installation along the exhibition route follow a narrative logic leading to the understanding of the research carried out by the artist from Biella in over 60 years of activity, from the first self-portraits and through the mirror painting.

“Art Field Nanhai”: China welcomes the Third Paradise and the exhibition “Fashion to Reconnect”
The district located in the Guangdong province will host the event that will also feature the exhibition “Fashion to Reconnect - Nanhai: A celebration of Chinese and European fashion designers engaged in sustainability”, running from 16 November 2024 to 12 February 2025. The exhibition, curated by Tiziano Guardini, displays clothes and fashion objects as works of art, which become tools for raising awareness for responsible social change. A new installation of the trinamic symbol will also be inaugurated, which stands as “a welcoming space where to gather, as in a temple, to celebrate and forge new alliances”, said the director of Cittadellarte Paolo Naldini.
