The “Tabouk Award 2021” conferred to Michelangelo Pistoletto
The Biellese artist has won theprize which is awarded annually to high profile personalities from the literary, artistic and civil worlds. “The Taobuk Award 2021 goes to Michelangelo Pistoletto - announced Antonella Ferrara, founder and artistic director of the Taormina Book Festival - for reminding us, at the height of his bright career, that we must look to a new level of planetary civilization, essential to ensure mankind’s survival”.

European and Mediterranean cooperation, the launch of the project “Alexandria: (re)activating common urban imaginaries”
The initiative, running from 1st November 2020 to 31st December 2023, aims at shedding light on the heritage of the Mediterranean city through the development of new cultural and artistic perspectives. The project, supported by the European Union's Creative Europe programme, includes, among other actions, the “Caravan residency program: Thinking with Alexandria”, conceived and realised at Cittadellarte by UNIDEE Residency Programs, and curated together with Edwin Nasr and in conversation with Sarah Rifky. “10 Tables for 100 Benches”, in dialogue with Cecilia Pecorelli between culture and art
As part of the project "100 benches for Rome", the coordinator of the Rebirth/Third Paradise ambassadors Francesco Saverio Teruzzi proposes a series of video interviews in the wake of the themes dealt with by the Rebirth Forum Rome. The seventh guest is Cecilia Pecorelli, director of Galleria Continua Roma, who says that “enhancing and preserving our cultural heritage means contributing to the creation of a collective identity”.

The Art of Balance #100 | The floor to the students of the Artistic High School “P. L. Nervi” in Lentini
The pupils of the school in Sicily are the 100th participants in the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. With the support of their teachers, the high school students have drawn the curtain on our project with a video contribution in which they offer food for thought using different languages, tones and reflections.
