The Art of Balance #63 | Filippo Tantillo, where will you live?
The territory researcher and manager of “Officine Sperimentali Aree Interne” is the 63rd guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. Filippo Tantillo reflects on the impact of Covid-19 on cities, explaining how the artistic-literary context is at a critical point: “In the area of Rome where I live,” he said, “ which has always been one of the most lively from a cultural point of view, live music has disappeared, small bookshops are fighting their last battle for survival, libraries and museums are accessible only by booking in advance, cinemas and theatres are still closed, and the risk that they might not reopen, possibly being replaced by amusement arcades and supermarkets (like it has been happening in other parts of the city), is more than real”. A cultural decadence that is expanding: “Poverty, especially the one of citizens abandoned by the institutions, is spreading across the squares and permeates what’s left of the neighbourhood”.

Cittadellarte hit by the fury of the river, the update by its director Paolo Naldini
We have started quantifying the damages and analysing the state of emergency: as a precaution, the spaces of the woollen mill have been closed to the public for the weekend, but the static test carried out by the technicians is comforting since it didn’t detect immediate risks to the buildings housing the exhibitions and the offices: “At the heart of our laboratory, in search for a harmony between us and the planet, this call confirms that the work we are doing with the rest of the Biellese territory, in the name of the Third Paradise, is urgent and right,” Michelangelo Pistoletto and Paolo Naldini said with reference to the events of Friday night. Anna Laura Orrico, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, is the 62nd guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. The deputy for the XVIII legislature of the Italian Republic (a member of the Five Star Movement) talks about the opportunities and risks linked to new technologies, and reflects on the future of online communication: “As a society,” she said, “we have to implement measures so that the web is a transparent and participatory space and not a manipulated and manipulating sphere”.

The sport marketing manager and influencer is the 60th guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. In his video-contribution, Max Sardella analyses how communication has changed in times of Coronavirus, also reflecting on the importance that this sector has for the present and for the future, not only for professionals in the field, but for the whole society: “Today, the future of communication,” he said, “must be the key to live with the virus and help us overcome the Covid-19 emergency”.

Art of Balance #59 | Marcela López Enríquez, how will you think?
The Rebirth/Third Paradise ambassadress is the 59th participant in "The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy", an initiative launched by Cittadellarte. Marcela López Enríquez proposes a reflection on the conceptual approach of the multidisciplinary collaboration models defined as "inclusive - synergistic" and on the role of education, design and the arts in the post-pandemic reality, a time in which - in her opinion - academic institutions, cultural and artistic organizations will be in the driver's seat and at the forefront of change.
