The Art of Balance #47 | Frankie Hi-nrg, what will you acquire?

The rapper and record producer – the author of hits like “Quelli che benpensano” – is the 47th guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. In his video interview, Frankie Hi-nrg MC builds a narrative of social critique, claiming that futilities are essential instruments in the post-pandemic. We need to listen to the message the author wants to convey though, which is the opposite of what his words say: “I’ve already started to buy a certain amount of batteries, toners for the printer, a couple of extra reams of paper, because these are now essential commodities”.

The Art of Balance #46 | Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, who will you meet?

The editor of Exibart is the 46th guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, after a first analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on society, answers the question posed by the initiative, identifying in Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev (director of Castello di Rivoli Contemporary Art Museum and of the Francesco Federito Cerruti Foundation in Turin) the person he would like to meet. The guest says he’s actually already had the opportunity to interview Christov-Bakagiev on Skype, and refers some of the salient parts of their exchange, going through what emerged and their multi-thematic reflections in relation to the world of art.

The Rebirth/Third Paradise ambassadress and representative of ILO (International Labour Organization, agency of the United Nations) is the 43rd guest is the 43rd guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. Maria Gabriella Lay talks about the problems caused by the pandemic, but she also identifies key ways to face the post-Coronavirus: “The trinamic formula of the Third Paradise can and must provide the guidelines for the process of analysis and rebirth, and the Art of Demopraxy can trace a path to achieve the Goals of the 2030 Agenda”. This episode’s guest also talks about the role of sustainability (in the economic, social and environmental sectors) during and after the Covid-19 emergency and about the recent work of ILO. Furthermore, she illustrates the mission and commitment of “Giovani in azione” (Youths in action), the project she is developing in Sardinia.

The actress is the 42nd guest of the initiative “The Art of Balance / Pandemopraxy”, launched by Cittadellarte. She participates with a video-interview in which she recites the words of one of her compositions. She starts by envisaging the effects of a hypothetical virus of imagination that “can turn something which is already real and accompanies us every day into something fantastic”, she then talks about the Third Paradise providing a series of metaphors developing from a geometric form to identify the value of time and life. “It’s in a circle,” she claims. “that the relationships we need are formed”.

Sergio d’Arpa explains how an adequate monitoring of our health through specific technological instruments – used by specialist doctors – can prevent a lot of illnesses: “Data relative to blood pressure, hours of sleep, physical activity and hydration levels recorded every day for three months… do you realise the amount of information available? Compared to a service of this kind, a doctor’s visit becomes an out-of-focus picture versus a high-quality video”.

Grazia Omodei reflects on the importance empathy can have in the post-pandemic, explaining how everything that happens in the world is linked and involves everybody, regardless of where they are geographically located. “It’s time to act for a new humanity,” she said, “one born of our ability to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes, which might after all be our own”.
